5:30 pm Tailgating Starts at the High School Parking Lot by Football Field (Hamburger, hot dogs, chips, cookie & water. (Fundraiser Christian Youth & Family Board –Grace Lutheran Church)
7pm—Ada-Borup-West Football Game Home game against Bagley
Saturday, September 7
ALL Day – Ada-Borup-West Volleyball Invitational Tournament at the ABW School.
8:00 am—11 am—”You Pick Event” at Blyss Flower Farm. Cut flowers, coffee & caramel rolls. (2297 240th Ave.—Ada)
Events at the Norman County Fairgrounds, Coliseum, 4-H Building & Prairie Village next to Fairgrounds 8:30 am —5:30 pm
FOOD: 4-H FOOD STAND 9 am—2 pm * PIONEER FOOD COURT 11 am—2 pm * PEOPLES CHOICE TASTING starts at 1 pm

8:30 am – 4 pm – Cook off Competition - Kelly Thronson Annual Backyard BBQ Rib & Chicken Contest . Cash prizes. Awards 5:15 pm (Information & register on Facebook: Kelly Thronson Memorial Backyard BBQ or email ktmbbq@gmail.com) (participation fee) Fundraiser.

9 am - Registration at 4-H Building for 4-H Achievement Day Fall Produce Exhibits. Judging at 9:30.
9 am - 3 pm – Craft Sale in the 4-H Building and in front of the Coliseum. To reserve a space call Angie Nelson at 784-5456.
10:30 am—2 pm—Bubbles. Stations with giant bubbles, bubble wands...lots of bubbles! By Coliseum (sponsored by City of Ada & Ada Chamber)
10:30—11:30 am – Tie Dye Socks!—Tie die & take them home! 4-H Building. FREE (Sponsored Norman County 4-H Clubs, & Ada Chamber)
10:30 am – 1:00 pm – Art Painting Classes Featuring local artist Anastasiia Childers (4-H bldg) With guidance from an artist, everyone can paint! Event and projects for the first 50 people are FREE, take home your artwork, thanks to a grant from Northwest Minnesota Arts Council *see below.
11 am - Bean Bag Tournaments start in Beer Gardens. (Registration in Rib fest area at 10:30 am) $20 team, 100% payout.
11 am—12 pm—Children’s Bingo in the Beer Gardens (fundraiser for Dekko Renovation Fund)
11 am—2 pm—Pioneer Food Court—in the Coliseum. Food from the “Good Old Days” including Potato Dumplings, homemade chicken noodle soup, flat bread, lefsa, romegrot, apple desserts, homemade ice cream, popcorn balls, sausage and kraut, homemade beans and more! (Fundraiser sponsored by the Norman County Historical Society. Tickets sold at the door).
Ongoing demonstrations and displays in Coliseum to include a quilt show, barn quilts, Aalgaard Photo Selection, Historic Fashion and Design with mannequins and models table with artifacts available for a donation.. (Norman County Historical Society).
11 am – 2 pm – The Skally Line in Coliseum. These musicians stream their way around the curves and bends of early American music. They are story tellers that tell forgotten stories about old Minnesota and play and sing original music rooted in that history. FREE thanks to a grant from Northwest Minnesota Arts Council *see below*
11 am—2 pm—Spinning with Aliza in the Coliseum. Spinning & weaving demonstrations. Try your hands at weaving, 3-D weaving display that shows how things are made with yarn. FREE thanks to a grant from the Northwest Minnesota Arts Council “see below”
11 am – 3 pm - Soybean Sand Box in front of Coliseum (Sponsored by Soybean Growers Assn).
11:30 pm – 3 pm – 4-H Achievement Day Fall Produce Displays in the 4-H Building
12 pm - 1:30 pm – Face Painting (in front of Coliseum) Sponsored by City of Ada & Ada Chamber
12 – 3 pm – Prairie Village open. Check out the Log Museum, Print Shop, Churches, Schoolhouse, Country Store, Barber and Beauty Shop, Log House, Doll House, Syre Depot and the Machinery Building.
12 – 3 pm – GraffT.Tee Shirt Art. From Ombre to Tie-dye to stencils. Enough for 50 people. Event in the tent in front of the 4-H Building. FREE thanks to a grant from Northwest Minnesota Arts Council *see below
12:30 pm – 2 pm – “Get Green Kids Activities” Sponsored by Norman County 4-H (in front of Coliseum)
1 pm – Tasting event—Rib Fest People’s Choice competition. starts on midway. All Welcome! $5 wristband. Purchase in Rib Fest area.
1:30 pm—Giant Bubble Bath Foam Party Sponsored by Borup Community Club Gaming 01894, City of Ada & Ada Chamber of Commerce.

3 –5 pm—Music by “Rising Sons” (Tommy Roesch Memorial Stage) Tony Roesch, Dylon Gunderson, Team Putmith featuring acoustic covers with avorite songs by popular artists like Luke Combs, Zach Bryan, Josh Turner, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Chris Stapleton, Eagles & More!

* These events are free thanks to Northwest Minnesota Arts Council. They awarded an Arts Grant to the Ada Chamber of Commerce which allows us to hold these events free of charge. In November 2008, Minnesotans passed the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment to the Minnesota Constitution. It provided dedicated funding for the arts and cultural heritage in our state for 25 years. The grant pays 75% and the ada chamber of commerce & norman county historical society pays 25%.
